Properly Wearing Rings for Prom
Prom is rapidly approaching and young women the world over are delving into their personal jewelry troves looking for those special and brilliant bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Fashion wavers back and forth depending upon current trends on whether a young woman attending prom should don specific accessories; some years locket necklaces are in style while some years it is best to wear no necklace at all. However, one of the traditional fashions which has remained consistent throughout the decades is that a young woman should wear at least one ring to prom. A ring can really enhance the already present wonder of most cheap prom dresses and it can say a lot about the young woman. Most rings worn to prom are typically hand downs from a mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt, or family friend although sometimes some prom attendees will go out and begin their own tradition by purchasing a new ring for themselves.
When it comes to wearing rings at prom along with cheap prom dresses there do exist a few rules and regulations to make it so young women do not go too over board. First, a young woman should not have a hand full of rings. To avoid looking pretentious and tacky, a young woman attending prom should not wear more than three rings in total. Because of the significance that hand rings can possess, two or three rings are permissible but beyond that it just gets a bit vulgar. It should also be noted that there are some cheap prom dresses that may benefit greatly from certain styles of rings. A blue hued dress can dazzle even more with a similarly colored precious stone on the hand, such as an opal or moonstone. If a young woman attending prom adheres to these words of advice she can dazzle and impress her friends and date at prom.
